MOLDOVA SCRIPTURE CAMPAIGN

  

In three weeks, I will be traveling to Moldova with Couriers for Christ on a team of 34 people.  We will be distributing Bibles and humanitarian materials for two weeks.  At the end of each week, we will be holding an evangelistic services for the people of the city of Balti and Chisinau to attend.  God has opened many amazing doors of opportunity so far on this trip.  The mayor of the City of Balti, where we will spend much of our time in Moldova, donated the largest Cultural Center in the city for the evangelistic service for FREE!  He also asked Couriers for Christ to provide a special service for children and he offered to advertise the event throughout the city and use the city buses to bring in the children for FREE!  Praise the Lord!  Please pray because there are many spiritual battles going on in regards to the evangelistic services.

Couriers For Christ was established in 1979 for the purpose of providing scriptures to the communist countries of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. Political changes in these countries opened many opportunities for Couriers, such as container shipping, and church planting campaigns.

The container of scriptures has arrived in Moldova and we are so excited to get going!  We really appreciate your prayers for this trip.  It will be great to see what God does!

Please pray for this trip and specifically for:

-Official permission to distribute literature in Chisinau

-That God will open up opportunities to share the gospel

-Safety for the Couriers for Christ team while traveling to and in Moldova

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.  We have been really busy this summer with many activities. Here is one we just did recently.

A few weeks ago while my parents were on their anniversary trip, we surprised them and redid our dining room.  Aimee came out to help us and we had so much fun!  She also built the awesome shelves that are now hanging on our walls. :). Here are a few pictures~

Aimee cut that "H" out of some scrap wood and stained it and Flynn made those cute flowers to go in the bottles.

OK, just have to say, the chalkboard signs hanging on the wall(pictured above) are so fun!  We bought some dressers drawers and that is all they are.  Basically, we popped the front of the drawer off and moved the knobs to the top.  Then we distressed the edges and stained them.  In the middle we used chalkboard paint and hung them off of burlap.  Now we just have to get some chalk and write something cute on them!  :)  It is really fun what you can do for decorating and it was inexpensive.  

We are so happy with the way it turned out and it was so fun!!!!  :D
