Thankfulness

I'm thankful for the sunsets and sunrises

For the dew on the leaves

I'm thankful for all of God's promises

I'm thankful for babies and the gift of life

I'm thankful for music that glorifies the Lord

I'm thankful for majestic mountains that show off

the power of God Almighty!

I'm thankful for family and friends

I'm thankful for puppies :)

I'm thankful for the cold weather

but also for the sunshine that warms me up

I'm thankful for the light of the moon

I'm thankful for a warm home

Most importantly, I'm thankful for the Bible and the old rugged cross.

I'm thankful that Christ died to cover my sins, but just as importantly, I'm thankful that he rose again to show his power over death and sin. I'm thankful that his death paid the penalty for all my sins. I'm no longer a debtor because of Jesus Christ. Only Christ's blood could pay the cost! I'm thankful to serve the Living God that changed my life forever!

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How deep the Father's Love for us

Ralph and Edna

Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool. Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him.She swam to the bottom and pulled him out.

When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love. I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead."

Edna replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?"

Wyoming Trip

In the beginning of March, Flynn, Joanna,

and I took a trip to Wyoming to visit friends.

It was nice to get away, relax and enjoy godly fellowship.

We thoroughly enjoyed the visit!

The trip worked out great and we had so much fun.

I'm so glad Joanna went with us. :)

We laughed the entire time!

Please pray for her as she is in Alaska for the next

4 weeks working in a radio ministry.

We miss her very much but are excited

to see what God does in this ministry.
