"Stay"

I pulled into the crowded parking lot at the local shopping center and rolled down the car windows to make sure my Labrador Retriever Pup had fresh air.


She was stretched full-out on the back seat and I wanted to impress upon her that she must remain there. I walked to the curb backward, pointing my finger at the car and saying emphatically, "Now you stay. Do you hear me?"

"Stay! Stay!"


The driver of a nearby car, a pretty blonde lady of

indeterminate age gave me

a strange look and said,

"Why don't you just put it in 'Park'?"

Today Esther (6), Katherine (4), and Alyssa (2) wanted to ride with me to Costco.

In the excitement Esther exclaimed, "We can be your three twitlets!"

Well, since no one else will comment, I WILL!

We tried to get some pictures the other day but the sun was so bright that we couldn't keep our eyes open... then we moved to the shade, but it was too dark, and our eyes were still watering from looking into the sunshine!

Nutcracker

Last weekend Erin, Flynn, and I took Esther,

Katherine, and Anna to the Nutcracker.

I think it was the first time any of us had ever

gone to a ballet and we really enjoyed it!

The girls dressed in their finest

to enjoy their evening out.

Don't they look adorable?

We all had so much fun!

Before the ballet we went to City Brew and got mochas and steamers

(depending on your age:-)

They loved the first half and couldn't wait for

the 2nd half of the performance to start!

Afterwards, Anna insisted that we walk to the docks and look over Flathead Lake. She kept calling, "Her fishy, fishy!" :) It was pretty cute!

We all had so much fun! I think it might be a good yearly tradition =)
