Wisdom?

This what I looked like after having three wisdom teeth pulled yesterday...

Thankfully the swelling is going down and I feel much better now that the heavy duty painkillers are wearing off.  It was a good excuse to sleep all day and eat as much ice cream as I wanted though!  LOL

Last weekend, I went to Missoula with a few friends and ran my first 5k. We had so much fun! The race was called the Color Me Rad. As we were running, they dumped paint on everyone and we each had paint bombs to throw on each other.

I was pretty nervous because I have never done a 5k and because I am not the best long distance runner, but it went really well. We weren't timed but I know we were done in under thirty minutes. I'm excited to do another one and try to be faster at it! It was extremely motivating!

Yay! Spring is finally here! I'm sitting outside, soaking up the sunshine on this beautiful 80 degree day. It is amazing! It is supposed to thunderstorm later so I am enjoying the sun while I can. :)

Life has been busy as usual the last few months. Flynn is finishing up finals this week and next and I'm still working and teaching. We took a break from orchestra, which has been nice, but we are looking forward to playing in the summer pops concert in July. It is always a fun time!

In the beginning of April we took a road trip with Erin, Joanna, and Aimee to Missoula. Here are a few pictures from the trip. :)

Montana is a funny place. Just when you think spring is here, winter hits! I think we've gotten about two feet of snow in the past two weeks. Thankfully it melts quickly. The forecast predicts 70 degrees this Friday... Come On Sunshine!!! :D

Anyway, the snow was really beautiful today!

True story- this is me this week...

As I'm sitting here on my lunch break... Eating a Cadbury egg *smiles* I realized I have a few pictures to share from my English class. My student is doing very well and it is fun to watch her English improve each week. She is incredibly motivated and does most of the learning on her own. I'm just there to coach and guide her.

Last week my sister helped me with class and she and Claudia sat back to back, one describing a picture and the other drawing.  This is how the pictures turned out:

Tonight we are having half a lesson and then going to get ice cream.

Teaching is so much fun!  :)
