Moldova Scripture Campaign 

Part 5-Free Time

This will probably be my last Moldova post for the time being.  Some of these pictures you may have seen before but I hope you enjoy them anyway.  These are the random pictures in our down time in Moldova. :)

During the first week in Balti, we ate at a pizza shop several times.  The pizza was delicious!

The people of Moldova seem to be very creative.  It was fun to see the ideas they came up with for food and fashion and many other areas of life.

I think the time I will remember the most in Moldova, was the afternoon I got to spend with my good friends Kristy and Anna.  We went to the street market, then we went to Anna's favorite coffee shop and enjoyed a delicious lunch.  After visiting for several hours we wandered through some stores looking at wedding dresses and all sorts of stuff.  It was a relaxing afternoon and it was great to catch up with these amazing ladies!

Moldova Scripture Campaign

Part 4-Evangelistic Services

During the scripture campaign we held two evangelistic services.  During the first meeting in Balti, over 200 people came and 15 people accepted Christ as their Saviour.   Pastor Hamilton said there were two grandmothers, 75 years old, who walked the entire length of the city(3 miles) to come to the event. The event had been changed from Saturday to Sunday, so disappointed, but patiently they agreed to come back the following day.  The came back Sunday and received their very own Bible for the first time!

God allowed us to hand out 146,000 John/Romans in Chisinau.  A total of 214,000 scriptures went out in Moldova.  We also held an evangelistic service in Chisinau.  974 people came to the event and 303 people got saved!  Praise God!
