Moldova... for an entire summer?

It is crazy how fast it has come up, but in a little less than a week, I'll be headed to Moldova for the summer.  I'm getting so excited!  I can't wait to see all the missionary kids, and the sweet girls who live at the Hannah House, and Tatiana.  I'm also so excited to see Kristy(my roomie) again :)  I can't wait to see all the good friends I made in Moldova!

My friend Aimee will be traveling with me for the first two weeks.  We get to make a stop in Rome on the way, which will be a blast!  Kristy even recommended a fun place to eat ;)  

Please pray for me over the next few months!  It is going to be a great experience, but I know it will be a lot of work.  Physically and emotionally.  Pray that God will give me wisdom as I teach English and music, and whatever else I may end up doing.  Please pray for the missionaries as well.  They are doing a great job and I am so blessed to have an opportunity to work with them!

My Favorite Little Fireman

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated.  Life has a way of flying by and before you know it, a month has passed by.

Last month, I took my nephew Arthur down to our local fire department.  I had gotten him this fireman's suit and he really wanted to see some fire trucks up close.  On our drive, I warned him that we may not be able to get in, but we would do our best.  It was so cute how understanding he was trying to be!  When we got there, one of the guys came to the door and was so excited to give us a tour.  He has a son that is close to Arthur's age so he knew just how to to keep his attention.  We stayed for close to an hour while Arthur got to sit in each of the six trucks and see how everything worked.  He even got to knock down safety cones with a fire hose, which pretty much made his day!  Here are a few pictures I couldn't resist taking.  He was such a little gentleman, and so stinkin' cute!

Happy 2014 everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well.  We have been very busy recently. Working, orchestra, school, teaching, random road trips etc.  I was going through some pictures and found a few that I forgot or was too busy to post.  :)  Hope you enjoy them!

This year we went to Missoula for Christmas.  It was strange not having Christmas in our own home, but it was very nice and relaxing.  So relaxing that we had Christmas in our pjs!  lol

Moldova Scripture Campaign 

Part 5-Free Time

This will probably be my last Moldova post for the time being.  Some of these pictures you may have seen before but I hope you enjoy them anyway.  These are the random pictures in our down time in Moldova. :)

During the first week in Balti, we ate at a pizza shop several times.  The pizza was delicious!

The people of Moldova seem to be very creative.  It was fun to see the ideas they came up with for food and fashion and many other areas of life.

I think the time I will remember the most in Moldova, was the afternoon I got to spend with my good friends Kristy and Anna.  We went to the street market, then we went to Anna's favorite coffee shop and enjoyed a delicious lunch.  After visiting for several hours we wandered through some stores looking at wedding dresses and all sorts of stuff.  It was a relaxing afternoon and it was great to catch up with these amazing ladies!
