Love is...
Today at the Valentine's lunch after church,
the kids were asked to define
LOVE
in their own words.
Here are a few of the answers:
Love is, "Misunderstood."
(Bethany, age 15)
Love is, "Doing something nice for someone and not expecting anything in return."
(Shalom, age 13)
Love is, "Kindness"
(Rachel, age 10)
Love is, "Not slapping your sister."
(Danielle, age 12)
Love is, "Not slapping your sister back."
(Aunica, age 10)
Love is, "Like my Mom and Dad."
(Mozelle, age 12)
Love is, "God's love."
(Esther, age 6)
Love is, "Decorations."
(Katherine, age 4.
Katherine helped decorate her house to surprise her Mommy)
And last but not least...
Love is, "A phone!"
(Alyssa, age 2.
Alyssa also claimed that her name was Josiah)
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;
but the greatest of these is charity.
1 Corinthians 13:!3
